Sylvie Elegance Studio aspires to re-establish traditional French doll making, now gone for over a hundred years.

Internationally known as Art Deco and implemented at the Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs (Paris, 1925), the fusion of the arts in the 1920's forms the source and the reference of the Collection. Art Deco means at the same time a style, an era and a way of life. It expresses artistic creation mixed with night life, the exaltation of travel and speed, the glamour of music-hall and movie stars as well as the search for exoticism through sports and leisure.

It was the first Trans-Atlantic movement, through which European and American inspirations mixed intricately, especially jazz.

Dans la première moitiée du XXémé siècle, le Music Hall, les Revues et la Comédie Musicale représentent la synthèse vivante des Arts de la Scène.

Sylvie graduated from Ecole Nationale des Beaux-Arts de Nancy, Lorraine, then spent her formative years in Paris at the Ecole Superieure de Design Industriel de Paris. After a successful career as an Industrial Designer, Sylvie decided to fulfil her dream of designing and producing her own creations.
